GSview

Brilliant Postscript and PDF reader.

PostScript files are plain text file that are normally used to send and print files than are not supposed to suffer any modification. They are very useful if we are going to take our documents to a printing workshop, or we simply want to share our files in Internet.

  The only problem is that to be able to view the .PS (PostScript) format we have to have an application that will allow us to interpret and view this type of file installed in our computer. The most extended interpreter is Ghostscript, that allows us to view and manage this type of document through the use of comand lines. GSview is a graphical user interface (GUI) for Ghostscript that will allow us to view and print .PS and .PDF files.

  GSview will allow to make some minor modifications to the documents, we will for example be able to change the layout orientation and change the pages size, only extract the pages we are interested in, transcode a PDF file to PostScript or viceversa, print these files, etc...

  So if you work with .PS and .PDF files very oftern, download GSview to simplify your work.

  Requirements: This download requires that you have Ghostscript installed.
